The municipality of Boden’s work on business continues in the same direction as before – but with a new structure that strengthens the strategic work.

The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise today presented its annual ranking of the business climate in Sweden’s 290 municipalities. Boden is ranked 62nd nationally – second best in Norrbotten, where Älvsbyn now tops.
At Vattenfall’s compensation hatchery in Heden, tests are now underway to feed trout with larvae as part of their diet. After a hesitant start, the fish have begun to eat – an important step in the project that could lead to more sustainable alternatives to traditional fishmeal.
