Boden Business Park collaborates and participates in various projects. Read more about the current projects below.
Game Attraction North is a project that aims to build a sustainable and growing gaming industry in Norrbotten and Västerbotten, with more jobs and new establishments. With the large industrial establishments in northern Sweden, a diversified labor market is needed to attract people to the region. The gaming industry, as an engine in the cultural and creative sector, contributes to this by creating new jobs and opportunities. The project works with methods that strengthen long-term value and competence, leading to more innovative companies, international agreements and a strong community within the industry. A sustainable gaming industry also contributes to the region’s attractiveness, increased gender equality, green transition and inclusion.
Together with partners such as incubators, universities and gaming clusters, the project works to attract companies and individuals to the region, strengthen companies’ product development and promote diversity. Activities include events, business development support and tools for startups and scale-ups to achieve long-term growth and profitability.
Project period: 2023-2026.
Project owner: Skellefteå Science City. Other partners are Umeå municipality, Luleå municipality and Boden Business Park.
The project is funded by: Tillväxtverket, Region Västerbotten, Region Norrbotten, Skellefteå municipality, Umeå municipality, Luleå municipality and Boden Business Park.
