Forsen specialises in qualified project and construction management and works with several different forms of implementation. The company’s breadth and size enables it to staff all types of construction projects, and it also has a large number of sub-consultants who have been associated with it for many years. Forsen is something of an expert in shared contracting – what is sometimes called Construction Management (CM). They have offices from Kiruna in the north to Malmö in the south.
Many of their employees are civil or university engineers, mainly in civil engineering or civil engineering. But there are also architects, landscape architects and surveyors among their project managers.
The company celebrates diversity, creativity, thoughtfulness and other things that make it great to go to work. They have equal gender representation in both management and leadership, and have been certified as a Great Place to Work for some years.
Why did you choose to establish your business in Boden Business Park?
Forsen is growing geographically and sees the “quadrangle” as an important region for our expansion. There are customers who need our expertise. Forsen is an established company, but new to this region. We see the benefit of belonging to “Norrland’s largest living room” in order to be visible, make contacts and collaborate.
What are you up to?
The trout has been around in Norrland for a few years. The office here in Boden is new, so we are establishing new contacts as best we can. Our man on the spot here is Christian Sjösten, firstname.lastname@example.org. Our offices in Kiruna and Umeå are fully focused on ongoing projects.
We are looking for new colleagues all over Sweden, as well as in the Nordic countries. We want to continue to grow and are always looking for new, friendly people to work in our industry. Primarily project and construction managers, but people with other profiles who can run projects are also interesting.
