Boden Business Park

Fabella

The world’s first interactive sound engine!

Last week there was a cake party at Boden Business Park when Wanderword launched its new service Fabella. A brand new platform that makes it possible to create sound-based experiences, even for beginners with no previous coding or programming experience. It allows users to build games and other interactive audio experiences that can then be run via mobiles or smart speakers and controlled by voice.

РHere at Wanderword, we wanted to build something that inspires people to create living stories and exciting entertainment in audio form. The team also managed to do it in a way that makes the job easy and fun, says Johan Str̦mberg, CEO of Wanderword

Much of the development has taken place at Boden Business Park, where the company is located, and several of the people who have helped create Fabella also have a background as students at Boden Game Camp.

Peter Zetterberg, founder of Wanderword and currently working at Microsoft in Seattle, has said in a previous interview that it was the proximity to game education that made the company choose Boden when looking for a place to set up shop.

– When we saw the plans for education and the infrastructure that was being set up for computer games, Boden was a natural choice for us. “Working with these young people who have been trained and come from the region is fantastic,” he said at the time.
