We are now looking for someone to strengthen the team in the regional project North Creative Nodes, based in Boden. The position as a business developer is a temporary part-time position at 50%.

Job Description

Boden Business Park’s mission is to create conditions for business growth by attracting talent and companies, supporting businesses through skills development and innovation-promoting activities, and attracting national and international investors. While the role is based in Boden, the mission covers all of Norrbotten, requiring travel and work throughout the region.

You will work within the project North Creative Nodes – a regional initiative aimed at strengthening companies in cultural and creative industries in Norrbotten. The project is a partnership between Luleå, Piteå, and Boden, managed by Piteå Science Park. You will work locally in Boden while contributing to the regional mission.

You will be part of a project team, requiring strong collaboration skills, the ability to work independently, and initiative-taking, while adhering to the overarching project goals and plans set in consultation with the lead project manager.

You should be skilled in collaborating, building, developing, and maintaining relationships and networks. Additionally, you will package offers, plan, and create meeting opportunities. You should have strong skills in market analysis, acquiring new knowledge, identifying collaboration opportunities, and driving these forward within the project framework.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in the cultural, business, or economic support systems, and working closely with companies in the business sector – experiences and networks you want to develop with the project team and partners.
• Experience in innovative processes, project management, and planning, executing, and evaluating strategic meetings and workshops.
• Understanding the role of culture in successful societal transformation. An active interest in culture and regular participation in cultural life is a plus.
• Experience in or connections to the cultural and creative industries is considered a merit.
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
• Academic education is preferred.

You should be a social, outgoing person with a broad network, passionate about driving development in collaboration with others. The role offers significant flexibility in how you structure your work and plan your days.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, responsible, and structured. You are results-oriented, analytical, and skilled at organizing and driving your work both independently and in teams. You are confident in giving public presentations and comfortable initiating contact to present projects and offers. You can adapt your communication to different audiences.

Duration and Work Hours

This is a temporary position at 50% until August 31, 2027. Start as soon as possible, by agreement.
