A group of investors is committing 18 billion kronor to ensure the construction of H2 Green Steel’s steel mill in Boden.

Boden has welcomed a new company that prioritizes sustainability and thinks differently to benefit the community associations. On Friday, they hosted the business breakfast and issued a call to action to the municipality’s entrepreneurs.

Boden will play a central role in the development of sustainable fish feed for the future. At Vattenfall’s fish farm in Heden, they are following the project with great interest.

Workplaces are increasingly multilingual as a result of globalization and migration. Learning a new language and culture takes time and misunderstandings can occur. Learning how to help colleagues who are not native speakers of Swedish reduces the risk of linguistic and cultural misunderstandings.

H2 Green Steel’s extensive work at Boden Industrial park is progressing. Recently, the so-called piling began, bringing the work one step closer to completion.

The proximity to some of Sweden’s best gaming education programs made Sparrowland choose to establish itself at Boden Business Park. The game studio is now one of around 70 companies with us.

In the spring, over 150 local businesses in the municipality of Boden responded to a survey. Their needs and growth are now being monitored in terms of skills provision and other business development.

For many years, young talents from the North have been moving to where the jobs are. This is where future opportunities are increasing and where the migration is taking place. One of several civil engineering students who have been offered a job at H2 Green Steel this summer is Hanna Sundling, who returns to Boden with new eyes on her childhood town.

Local presence is central to Kiwa’s business and the company sees opportunities to benefit from the region’s workforce by establishing itself at Boden Business Park. Kiwa is now one of the tenants in our coworking space.
