Boden Business Park is constantly developing and the interest in Space & Place coworking is great. We now welcome Bilfinger as a new member of our coworking space at the top of Verkstan.

Bilfinger is a German group with approximately 33,000 employees that delivers project and service solutions primarily to the energy and process industries. In the Nordic region, the company operates in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. In Sweden, Bilfinger is established in more than 25 locations and has approximately 750 employees working in five business areas; Engineering & Projects, Maintenance & Modifications, Piping, Insulation& Scaffolding.

Why did you choose to establish your business in Boden Business Park?

– In northern Sweden, Bilfinger is already established in Skellefteå, but a lot of exciting things are happening in Norrbotten, so we wanted to be there too. We received a good presentation from the business office in Boden and felt that it was natural to apply for an office space at Boden Business Park. We also see it as positive that we can network with the companies that are already there, says Per Mårtensson, Region Manager North.

What are you up to?

– Bilfinger already has assignments in Boden, but of course we hope for more work here. There is also a lot going on in Luleå, Gällivare and Kiruna, for example, so if things go as we hope, we will probably rent larger premises or build our own premises with offices and workshops in the northern region.
