Säsong is a new concept for restaurant, conference and hotel at Boden Business Park. With a clear sustainability mindset around food and meetings, ingredients and influences are selected according to season.
Behind the venture is Almost There, which already runs Peetgården and the Foodmaker catering business in Boden. Säsong offers a sustainable meal concept, inspiring meeting rooms and the opportunity to stay overnight at Boden Business Park.
The food served follows the seasons and consists of locally produced ingredients as far as possible.
“For us, it’s important to create meeting places with a clear sustainability mindset and that make people think. We can learn a lot from following the seasons, both when it comes to what we serve on our plates and what we are inspired by in meetings with others,” says Lina Ekström Morin, Development Manager at Almost There.
What are you up to?
“Right now we are developing a ‘regulars’ concept that will give a discount in the restaurant. We are also planning after work and Christmas table now during the fall and winter, says Lina Ekström Morin.
The picture also shows the dishwashing robot “Marvin”, the first of its kind in Norrbotten. The robot can move between different points and both staff and guests can load dishes that the robot then takes to the dish room.
