“Fail Fail Succeed”,“The Tragedy at Deer Creek”and “What Do You Call a Group of Skeletons?” – three very different games from northern Sweden – will showcase exclusive demos of their upcoming titles at Steam Next Fest, taking place October 13-20, 2025.
Steam Next Fest is an international digital games fair on the Steam platform, where thousands of gamers each year have the opportunity to try new games and get to know the developers behind them.
All three teams are part of the Boden Game Incubator, a program that supports growing game studios through business development, mentoring and production support in northern Sweden.
Together, they reflect the creativity and innovation that drives the growing game development scene here in the North.
– We are extremely proud of our developers. Their creativity and technical prowess reflect the energy of the northern Swedish games industry. Steam Next Fest brings their work to a global audience,” says Björn Hortell, Project Manager of Boden Game Incubator.
Here are the three games:
Fail Fail Succeed – The Notlanders
A puzzle platform game where failure is the key to success. The player must use every mistake to build new paths through a surreal dream world filled with traps and clever puzzles. Inspired by the developers’ own experiences of cycles of manic highs and depressive lows.
