Sofia Lundström will be the new business developer in the North Creative Nodes project and will be based at Boden Business Park.
North Creative Nodes is part of Piteå Science Park, which is one of the project owners together with Luleå Municipality and Boden Business Park. North Creative Nodes works to promote companies and businesses in the cultural and creative industries’ sustainable growth, business acumen, ability to create value in the sustainable social transformation of the north. The team in North Creative Nodes is now expanded with Sofia Lundström.
What will you work on in the North Creative Nodes project?
– I will be working as a business developer in North Creative Nodes.
Tell us about your background.
– I am a trained behavioral scientist and have worked with business development and project management in several different businesses and projects and right now I am sharing my position within North Creative Nodes with projects aimed at the gaming industry at Boden Game Camp. I have also been an entrepreneur myself and run a beer brewery.
What are you looking forward to most about your new job?
– I think it will be great fun to work with the North Creative Nodes project. I am definitely looking forward to getting to know the entrepreneurs in the industry, of course, but also to contribute to a sustainable and creative industry through activities and meeting places. It feels extra inspiring to hopefully be able to create opportunities for cultural entrepreneurs to establish business relationships with actors in other industries. Business relationships that I think promote both innovation and growth and ultimately a sustainable and dynamic cultural sector that is extra important in the social transition that Boden and Norrbotten are in the middle of – here and now.
What inspires you most right now?
– Undoubtedly all the creative, exciting entrepreneurs in the cultural sector but also by the direction that I think Boden is showing by being part of the project. Cultural and creative industries are an important part of succeeding as a municipality.
