Changemaker Educations has been granted permission to run the Futuregames Game Designer and Futuregames Game Programmer courses at Boden Game Camp. This was announced by the Swedish Agency for Higher Vocational Education (MYH) on Thursday.
University of Applied Sciences programs are applied for in batches and started for the first time in autumn 2021. Now Changemaker Education has gained continued confidence in the courses, which are run by its own brand, Futuregames. Futuregames .
– It feels very positive that we will continue to have a wide range of education and that we can continue to see the stars of tomorrow develop here at Boden Game Camp, says Hanna Müller, business developer with a focus on the gaming industry at Boden Business Park.
The next course starts in the fall of 2024 and the courses comprise 550 VET credits, which means about 2.5 years of full-time study. Both have 11 seats in Boden. In the fall of 2024, the Animator and VFX Artist and QA / Game Tester vocational training courses will also start, as well as the Game-dev indie secondary school education and the GameDev program.
