Owe Johansson is NyföretagarCentrum Nord’s new business advisor in Boden. In his assignment, he will work both with people who want to start a business and with existing small and medium-sized companies in Boden municipality.
Boden climbs in the Small Business Index
Boden continues to be one of the country’s leading municipalities in terms of small business climate. In this year’s Small Business Index 2025, the municipality is ranked 15th out of 290, an improvement from the previous year. This means that Boden is the third best municipality in Norrbotten, after Älvsbyn and Arjeplog, and the second best in the country among low-commuting municipalities close to major cities.
Railway to Boden Industrial Park completed – ahead of schedule and under budget
The railway to Boden Industrial Park is now complete. The project, carried out in close collaboration between the municipality of Boden and Polar Structure, has been completed one month ahead of schedule and under budget.
