The municipality of Boden is facing major changes with the settlements taking place in northern Sweden. To meet the need for labor and at the same time attract more people to settle in Boden, flyttatillboden.se was launched – a platform where candidates can register and be matched with local companies seeking their skills.
An automated digital matching service is now being developed, starting in February 2025. This unique recruitment solution will connect companies and candidates in a smarter way.
“There is an interest in Boden, with over 2000 people a year submitting expressions of interest to move here and work, in everything from healthcare to construction. What we realized is that it must be easy for our entrepreneurs to get in touch with the candidates, our companies are busy but there is a recruitment need”, says Beatrice Isaksson, digital marketer at Boden municipality and continues:
“From there, the idea of matching companies and candidates directly over email was born with the help of a robot that can match the needs of companies and candidates. This saves time and opens doors for both candidates and companies.”
Your company or organization will receive emails with contact details of candidates matching your skills needs. Similarly, candidates receive an email with a presentation of your company/organization and your contact details.
Check if there has been a recruitment
The digital employee follows up with both companies and candidates at intervals to ensure progress and report any obstacles.
After some time, the digital employee checks whether you have contacted each other and whether a recruitment has been made.
