550 smart green hectares

The site covers an area of approximately 550 hectares where the availability of electricity and large areas of land provide unique conditions for the establishment of electricity-intensive industries, creating opportunities for a rapid transition to an industry that is not dependent on fossil energy. Transport to and from the site will be mainly via a transport corridor allowing new road and rail links between the site and the 97/Malmbanan. Municipal water is under investigation, but will be built to the area.

Area of operations covering the existing waste facility and quarry through the adjacent Brännkläppen and Svalget areas. Strategic location through connections with road 356. The site is proposed with some extension from existing operations for future expansion. The area is likely to be supplied with municipal water while sewage will be dealt with through individual local solutions.
