On August 18, Thomas Sundqvist will take office &#8211; with the task of coordinating the social transition and leading the municipality&#8217;s strategic development work.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Thomas Sundqvist has previously worked closely with the municipality in the establishment work around Stegra and has many years of experience from both business and the public sector.  <\/p>\n\n<p>&#8211; &#8220;It is both an honor and an exciting opportunity to continue working on a societal transition that is not only of local, but also national importance. I look forward to contributing to the development together with colleagues, industry and partners,&#8221; says Thomas Sundqvist. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:19px;font-style:normal;font-weight:800\">&#8220;Broad experience and deep understanding&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n<p>As Head of Development, Thomas Sundqvist will be responsible for coordinating cross-sectoral development work in close dialog with the municipal manager, heads of administration and the municipal companies. The assignment also includes being a strategic link between the municipality and external actors &#8211; from industry and academia to authorities and civil society.   <\/p>\n\n<p>&#8211; We are strengthening the organization with a person who has both broad experience and deep understanding of Boden&#8217;s conditions. Thomas has already been an important part of our societal transition, and in his new role he will have the opportunity to take an even greater holistic approach. This gives us good continuity at a time when the pace continues to increase,&#8221; says Magnus \u00c5kerlund, Head of the Municipality of Boden.    <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:19px;font-style:normal;font-weight:800\">New structure for strategic development  <\/h3>\n\n<p>At the same time, the former business function is being developed into a more unified governance model.
