Start-up for internal corporate network

The municipality of Boden sees increased pressure on development in the local business community.
In order to continue working qualitatively, an internal corporate network has started and on Wednesday the first meeting was held at Boden Business Park.
- We do this to learn more about the companies' conditions, but also to constantly remind ourselves of accessibility and hospitality, says Mats Berg, municipal and business manager.

The municipality of Boden was one of the few selected municipalities in Sweden to participate in the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise's development program during 2020/2021. The purpose of the program is to improve the municipalities' accessibility and service to entrepreneurs by focusing on the work around leadership, communication, digitalisation and service-oriented exercise of authority.

The development program resulted in a development project that aims to strengthen the local business climate and reach Boden's goals of a top 50 ranking and a summary rating of 4.0 in the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise's business climate survey.

Boden is in the largest growth phase ever with increased pressure on establishments and development in the local business community. Through this, there is a need for an even more structured and coordinated way of working to ensure the ability to continue to deliver high quality in the work with the business community.

To be able to achieve this, the municipality of Boden and the relevant municipal companies are starting an internal corporate network to gather employees who meet the business community in their work and together develop and work to offer a municipality where it is easy and fun to run a business.

On Wednesday, the first meeting was held at Boden Business Park.
- We do this to learn more about the companies' conditions, but also to constantly remind ourselves of accessibility and hospitality. It is easy for us to get caught up in our everyday questions and basically forget what we need to think about, says Mats Berg, municipal and business manager.

The idea of the internal company network is, among other things, to provide current information about what is happening in the business world, experience and knowledge exchange between employees, training in service and treatment and information about the companies' everyday lives and conditions.
